Hello.
I'm studying English and I need help. I made up a crazy story to practice idiomatic expressions and grammar, and I need you to help me to correct it.
Please help me to correct the mistakes, and the sentences that might be correct but sound unnatural. I'd really appreciate all the help you could bring me.
"Who would think back in 2011 that Europe would be attack by Iran. It started so quickly, that the United states of america reacted a bit late. The immeasurable nuclear power that Iran had, passed unadvertised all along, and when the attack started it was impossible to react for the rest of the countries, they were just beginning little by little to recover from the disastrous earthquake that hit them in 2016. Of course, the earthquake, 9.3 in the Richter scale, with epicenter only 45 miles away form Berlin, affected all Europe, including the U.K., who hadn't suffered a tsunami never before. Iran found the perfect opportunity to strike. They launched a shock and awe operation, starting from France, a country that resigned almost immediately. After that, Iran destroyed Europe's main cities, but when U.S.A intervened, it only took to them 1 month to literally erase Iran from the map. Europe is still recovering from the natural disaster and nuclear attack step by step. The Iran's dream to turn Europe into Europastan failed."Native english speakers, 10 points?
Hi. If i've corrected something and you're wondering why, then you can email me and i'll get back to you as soon as I can. =)
"Who would think back in 2011 that Europe would be attack by Iran? (it's interrogative) It started so quickly (don't need the comma) that the United states of america reacted a bit late. The immeasurable nuclear power that Iran had went unnoticed all along, and when the attack started it was impossible for the rest of the countries to react (subject first, 'the rest of the countries), they were just beginning little by little to recover from the disastrous earthquake that hit them in 2016. Of course, the earthquake, 9.3 on (on, not in) the Richter scale, with an epicenter only 45 miles away from Berlin. It affected all of Europe, including the U.K., who had never suffered a tsunami before. Iran found the perfect opportunity to strike. They launched a (shock and awe? I'm not sure what you were trying to say here...If you come back and add more details, I might be able to help) operation, starting from France, a country that resigned almost immediately. After that, Iran destroyed Europe's main cities, but when the U.S.A intervened, it only took them 1 month to completely erase Iran from the map. Europe is still recovering from the natural disaster and nuclear attack step by step. Iran's dream to turn Europe into Europastan failed."
Overall, it was very, very good. It was nearly perfect actually! Good luck with your EnglishNative english speakers, 10 points?
