Oh goody, a new pile of cr@p to deal with, and it's even more ludicrous than the previous ones.
1) Oil spills have absolutely nothing to do with earthquakes.
2) Rivers flow to the sea, in this case to the Gulf, not the other way around.
3) The oil spill was stopped in July 2010 and the relief wells were completed in September.
4) Edgar Cayce didn't predict any such thing.
5) We can't predict earthquakes.
There was a big flap in 1990 about someone predicting a massive quake at the New Madrid Fault to happen within a few months. Like all fantasy predictions, it didn't happen.
Stop fretting over internet nonsense. It isn't going to happen. What cities/states will be under water if the Gulf Oil spill/New Madrid Fault theory comes true? r if?
Never heard of this theory. And, I believe it is complete and total nonsense. YouTube is notoriously and hilariously bad as a source for anything scientific. Just because the internet is "burning up" with rumors means absolutely nothing in the scientific community.
Earthquakes occur on a geologic time scale - thousands to tens of thousands of years. The gulf oil spill lasted for a few months. There is no relationship %26lt;%26lt;at all%26gt;%26gt; between the spill and the Mew Madrid fault.
No other earthquake in all of the recorded history of the world - ever - has caused areas as large as a state to be so changed as this theory seems to predict. The course of the Mississippi River was changed by the last major earthquake, but it is totally %26lt;%26lt;impossible%26gt;%26gt; to predict the effects of another one. If the river did change course, then some places would flood as the river found a new channel. The only thing that anyone could do is to make some guesses about the results. If people claim they know exactly what would happen - then they are lying - and probably trying to sell something or get attention.
Entire states would NEVER be under water. Even the worst floods from that river have never put that much land under water. What cities/states will be under water if the Gulf Oil spill/New Madrid Fault theory comes true? r if?
You have to stop believing everything you read or hear about. Get out there and enjoy life and hang with your friends...enjoy your youth and your life while you can.
