How to get out of Verizon Wireless Cell Phone Contract, Please help?

Is there any way possible that I can get out of my verizon contract WITHOUT paying the ending termination fee? I have 14 months left, and I hate all those ridiculous sur charges and taxes, and expensive data plans for the type of phone I have, which is the Samsung Intensity. I want to switch to Walmart's calling card service called Straight Talk. You can buy unlimited texts, minutes, and internet for $45 a month, and you don't have all of those bs extra service fees or sur charges on it, and it is not under a contract. A buddy of mine has it, and he says it works great, and I've used it before, so I know it works great. They also have a $30 card for 1000 texts and 1000 minutes. All you gotta do is keep renewing your card monthly, and it's a lot cheaper than Verizon. I was thinking I could look on Verizon's coverage map where they show all the areas in the United States that offer their service. In a lot of the states, there are some cities and towns, where Verizon is not in the coverage zone, and I was going to tell them that I am moving to one of those towns to live with a family member. Will that even work? There has got to be some way or loop hole to get around the contract with out paying the ETF? I just think cell phone contracts are ridiculous because the customer is always right, and they shouldn't have to pay all that much money. Hi.The only way to get out of your contact is if you are going for sea's for military purposes or are dead. Even with that you would have to prove you are in the military goes over seas OR provide a death certificate. No way to get out of the termination fee unless you are having reception or other technical problems.
The ETF fees are valid... stop complaining and deal with it... you dont want to pay them... then cancel and dont pay them! Duh!!!!!!!!! And when you dont pay us... We'll just lock your ESN so you cant flash the phone to another phone number or cell carrier... They will be OUR phones until you get smart and pay the bill in full.... when your balance is $0.00... then we will let you Flash the ESN...



And.. the customer is not always right... in this case, your dead wrong!... you signed a contract... you signed and stated you understood the contract... deal with it... we even gave you 30 days to try it out before the contract became effective...

You will see your ETF fee on the final bill next month... it will not be waivable or adjusted... go to wal-mart, buy a straight talk phone... As for your Samsung Intensity... its now a paperweight... you can have control of it again after you paid the final bill in full....
