1. San Diego is in southern California.

2. Confusing. There is one symbol for capital cities. It is a star. There are 50 total stars on the US map because there are 50 states, .: 50 capitals.

3. It's in central Missouri... almost dead center.

4. United States to the north, Guatemala and Belize to the south.

5. South.

6. A bay is a body of water that forms a sort of indention in the shoreline, not as large as a gulf.

7. St. Louis, Missouri because Lincoln, Neraska is over 500 miles away..

8. The capital of Minnesota is St. Paul. People get confused because the capital of Indiana is Indianapolis and Minnesota and Minneapolis start with the same sound.

2. 50 (kind of a guess...but there are 50 states, 50 capitals, 50 little stars symbolizing the capitals)

The USA borders Mexico to the north while Guatemala and Belize border it to the south.

St. Paul is the capital of MN. People might be confused because they are right next to each other and are called the “twin” cities.

Are you sure these are the hard ones? These are easy for me to answer...I don't even have to look up the answers!!!

8. St. Paul is the Capitol and it is smaller and that is why more people think that minneapolis is the capitol.





remember the question asks how many symbols???? There is only one symbol and it is the STAR!!
