Why do military families sometimes have lots of kids?

I noticed this among military couples and my cousin has four boys. Her husband is in the military and is on leave a lot. I know it is not just my imagination.Maybe all that time away causes a whole lotta lovin.Why do military families sometimes have lots of kids?I was in the Navy for 5 years and the answer to this is quite simple. The military, no matter which branch, pays you more for every kid you have. If your pay went up considerably for each kid you had, you probably would have several too. Also, if you are separated from your significant other for 6 or more months... let's just say you are very happy to see them when they return.Why do military families sometimes have lots of kids?

That's why your cousin gets inexplicably pregnant while her husband is on leave.Why do military families sometimes have lots of kids?i notice that too.each post i have been to or we have been stationed at,i see many families with a bunch of kids.i saw this one lady with 4 kids all noticeably a year apart and one on the way at the grocery store.i see families like that always,i asked my husband why is that when we first started dating and i would go on post with him to do different things.i think that the women assume that military families are rich and its guaranteed money and benefits,until you get hurt or discharged,so they just start popping them out yearly.im not saying it is all of the families,but it is 50% of the ones i know that have alot of kids.almost every lady in my classes on post are that way and thats why they say they are in night class.cant afford a university,too many kids,and daycare cost.but i think to myself,get on some bc pills,before you end up with more kids.but thats just my thought on the families with many kids.i do not want more than two children.we have one on the way,and wont have another til i graduate college and the baby is in kindergarten,then my husband has one already.that is a average size family i say.i have been asked by some wives on post how many more children are coming next?then they get made when i say kids are expensive,and one and only years down the road will be next.then they look at me and say i should have more.then i ask is that a trend in military familes having 4 plus kids?i cant say who should have how many kids,but it is not a good look for civilians to notice that about most military families and other military families to see the trend of big families on face too.this is all me being me and giving my opinion of what i have saw and have been told personally.
Well not all military families have lots of kids. My husband and I only have one. It is an issue between that couple. Why are you concerned about others? Maybe its becuae they tend to recruit in the lower socio-economic sections of teh community and these sections tend to breed like rabbits

I do not believe Military families specifically have more kids than any other group of families.
