Are american guys that you can see in movies the same guys that...?

Are american guys that you can see in movies the same guys that you can find in real life in united states?

I mean is there any person who has the characteristic of being shy in United States? Is it a not very common characteristic in America?

Could it be because of English origins? What are the reasons we see so many people beating each other in your movies? Please don't get offended. I just would like to understand. Are american guys that you can see in movies the same guys that...?Depends on the movie. If it's an action movie, then no. That's not very typical.

Yes, there are tons of shy people in the US, it's very common. The reason you see so much violence in our movies is because we're a violent people. That's not a very nice thing to say, and I'm sure some would disagree, but seriously. We are. Just think of UFC. It's a hot sport up here, and it's basically two dudes beating the living crap out of each other until one passes out or surrenders. Ever see a soccer mom get cut off on the highway? Not a pretty sight. We are a violent people that enjoy violent entertainment.

We love our guns and love our action heroes. The reasons behind all that go back pretty far. We were founded on the barrel of a gun and much of our history, our beginnings, were created by violence: the American Revolution, settling the West, the Civil War... We would not be a nation if not for violence. So it's pretty much engrained in our heads. It is what it is.Are american guys that you can see in movies the same guys that...?movies don't reflect real life. there are many shy people in usa. nothing to do with english origins, it's MOVIES. people "beating each other" is action flicks.

movies are not real life.
