Why do they keep making American versions/live-action movies of anime?

Astro Boy, DBZ, Detective Conan, Bleach, Death Note, etc...

I've seen Americanized Astro Boy 3D and DBZ live-action and they aren't any good. They probably thought they could do a good job in those. I know it worked when they did an American version of Godzilla, and the Grudge, and the Ring, etc. It only works in movies (mostly Horror movies), but it won't work in anime. That's why I don't like watching dubs, and i prefer subs.Why do they keep making American versions/live-action movies of anime?
those anime is good to make live action version. But they failed to give justice to those anime when there making a live version. They don't follow the plot of the story in the anime version. That's why many anime addicts who already know the anime says the live version sucks. Which is true.Why do they keep making American versions/live-action movies of anime?WHAT!!!!!!
