There is something that I find rather appealing about foreign movies. They show life in a way that is more the way it actually is. They put a funny spin on some things like love, and they show feeling in different movies than American movies do. What do you think of the movies above, and what other foreign movies do you like?Do you tlike foreign movies like Das Fraulein and Paris je T'aime?Foreign films are my favorite.. When I started out with them I loved City of God, Oldboy, Amores Perros, Pan's Labyrinth, Y Tu Mama Tambien, etc.. Now, my whole list is in majority foreign- 8 1/2, La Strada, I Vitelloni by Fellini, The Seventh Seal, The Virgin Spring, and The Silence by Bergman, Grand Illusions, Boudu Saved from Drowning, The Rules of the Game - by Renoir, Stalker, Andrei Rublev, Solaris by Tarkovsky, L'Avventura, L'Eclisse, La Notte by Antonioni, and too many more to name.. Yi Yi, Jules et Jim, The Passion of Joan of Arc, Diary of a Country Priest, Bicycle Thieves, etc.
My favorite foreign film has to be 8 1/2.Do you tlike foreign movies like Das Fraulein and Paris je T'aime? The American movies that show life in a more realistic way aren't always in theaters. But they do exist.
I haven't seen "Das Fraulein," but I loved "Paris, je t'aime."
A few more:
-"El Orfanato"
-"Le fabuleux destin d'Amelie Poulain"
-"Hors de prix"Do you tlike foreign movies like Das Fraulein and Paris je T'aime?I like them too. Of course Amelie is good. Ma Vie en Rose, Vagabond, Karakter, The Nasty Girl, The Story of Women, Pan's Labrynth. All great movies. Also many others that I'm forgetting.
